Our fitter noted the low spin of the Callaway MAVRIK driver and suggested that most golfers don’t need it to cut down on RPM. “Great forgiveness” was a common refrain among numerous fitters.
Multiple fitters – and their clients – have commented on the improved sound compared to the Epic Flash. One fitter said it has the best looking Callaway head in many years.

Callaway’s MAVRIK has a brand new color scheme, improved sound, and consistent performance. It will make its way into golf bags all over 2020. This standard version is suitable for the majority of golfers. However, there are so many nuanced aspects to the Callaway MAVRIK that it can’t be easily measured. Don’t be afraid of trying the low spinning Sub Zero or the ultra-forgiving MAX versions to see what suits your swing best.

Three versions are available in the Mavrik range, including the Sub Zero, Standard and Max. In this review we will concentrate on the standard.
Callaway’s intelligent people may not be as sharp as the computers they use to build their clubs. Callaway was able learn efficiently and quickly thanks to the AI, which allowed him to develop unconventional, Mavrik-style thinking.
