Performance

A 10.5 degree driver has been my favorite driver since childhood. The initial results I got with the 9 degrees driver were, unsurprisingly, disappointing. MyFly’s hosel adjust system made it easy to add loft. This helped me achieve a better launch angle for my swing. I have been a fan of the Mitsubishi Tensei CK AV Blue shaft for a while, even though I hadn’t spent much time using it. Cobra is truly a premium choice for golfers when it comes to shaft options.

Jay Marino, Club Champion’s master club fitter, reviewed my launch data. He identified two factors that stood out: forgiveness and power. If you dig deeper, it is clear that these two factors have a direct correlation in terms of effectiveness and consistency. The Smash factor is remarkable consistent, high and reliable even when there were significant off-center hits.

Cobra breaks their performance into six areas: power, strength and light, as well as aero, aero, stability. They use analogies from race cars but ultimately it comes down to the construction. A strong chassis made of titanium and 360 Carbon Wrap, which allows for weight savings. The weight positioning also helps to maintain a low centre of gravity. The combination of optimized aerodynamics, the infinity-face and reliable driver KING SPEEDZONEXTREME makes the driver a workhorse.

Cobra King Speedzone Xtreme Driver Review And Photos: Clubtest 2020

ClubTest 2020 was the first time we reviewed and tested 28 different drivers. The results below are for the Cobra King SpeedZoneXtreme driver.

Price: $449 / BUY NOW. Lofts: 9, 10.5 & 12. Our Take: The 458cc Xtreme has a slightly longer front-to-back than the standard model. It also features one adjustable weight which gives it more forgiveness to the player who is looking for speed but not too much workability.

ClubTester’s 13-hdcp take: It looks like a hammer. This bad boy is easy to swing and I don’t have to worry about him getting away.

Robot’s perspective: Robots forgive toe shots as crazy, just like the regular model.

Infinity Face of Cnc Milled

Although the shape of the driver is more aerodynamic, it still requires a soft surface. Cobra King Speedzone Xtreme Driver’s review shows that its clubface has a CNC-milled surface which gives you a very wide and generous sweet spot.

Infinity Face will help to prevent you from getting too much heel/toe on the ball. Although the Infinity Titan face is titanium, it has a large profile that allows for a more solid hitting surface.

A driver increases distance even for low-handicappers’ long drives. It uses improved technology to give the clubhead more sweet spots and control over ball spin. With its 460cc head, aerodynamic design, and high swing speeds, the driver is your best choice. This clubface also helps to control mishits and allows you to push the ball farther off of the fairway.

Why should I buy a Cobra Speedzone Xtreme drivers?

King Speedzone Xtreme’s inside workings show that you can get a high-tech driver with maximum COR value.

You can adjust the mass to achieve the desired result. It is possible to adjust the mass for ball spin reduction, clubface forgiveness or maximum distance.

Although the Speedzone offers the lowest loft, a 9-degree loft would be ideal for lower-handicappers. The ball can fly further off the tee if it is thrown at a more flat, low trajectory. Also, a shorter trajectory will allow you to avoid windy conditions. It also prevents the ball’s from traveling in places it doesn’t belong. It is possible to adjust the loft up to 12.5 degrees, then further alter to create the best draw or fade bias.

The price is perhaps the most appealing aspect of the Cobra Speedzone Xtreme. It costs less than some of the other high-tech manufacturers that make similar drivers. It produces straighter and longer drivers than any other driver.

Cobra Golf King Speedzone Driver – First Impressions Review

COBRA Golf KING Speedzone was one of many drivers I looked forward too swinging in 2020. The first time I saw one was in October at a Kitchener industry fair. The driver’s cosmetics made me salivate. Would it live up to my expectations?

This was a question I answered at the 2020 PGA Show, Orlando, Florida. This is my COBRA Golf SPEEDZONE driver review based upon the initial impressions it provided me at Demo Day, Orange County National Golf Resort.

There are two models available in the Set-Up COBRA golf KING SPEDZONE drivers. These will be of interest to those looking for new drivers in 2020. COBRA Golf is offering both a “standard” KING SPEEDZONE and a KING SPEEDZONE XTREME. The two drivers have the exact same chassis but there are differences. Before we look at all the differences, let us see what these two models share in common.

COBRA Golf says that the new range of KING-SPEEDZONE drivers is their longest, strongest and most powerful to date. Drawing inspiration from motorsports, these drivers look fast just sitting still. A glimpse at their dual exhaust inside the trailing edge’s rear can reveal some of this inspiration. CNC-milled faces are what the KING SZ drivers sport, just like they did in 2018, when we saw them with their KING F8. It’s just that the face features a twist or, should I say, an infinite symbol. This sign signifies “no limits”, or “endless”.

Infinity Face, one of many technologies we find in the KING SZ. Infinity Face. The face experiences an increased sweet zone, and greater ball speed over the whole surface of its face.

The “T-Bar Chassis” was introduced this year. T-Bar Chassis consists of a section from the interior portion that runs along the leading edge to the trailing side. COBRA Golf R&D developed a cross-member frame to improve the performance and durability of the KING SZ driver.

Would you enjoy the carbon fiber look? If this is you, KING SZ drivers may be the right choice. The KING SZ features a “360 Carbon Wrap”. 360 Carbon Wrap wraps a staggering 50% of the body. The use of all of the carbon fiber allowed COBRA Golf to move a staggering 25-grams of discretionary weight to use elsewhere. This is the ultimate luxury of golf club design. This allowed engineers to design a driver with infinite forgiveness by moving the weight of the KING SZ Drivers to other parts.

Are The Cobra Speedzone Xtreme drivers forgiving?

High MOI Design provides the final speed zone. The High MOI Design strategically places weight around the perimeter, creating an extremely forgiving driver’s head when they miss the middle. My Golf Spy rated the Xtreme driver as the most forgiving this year.

Is The Cobra Speedzone Or Speedzone Xtreme Better?

Speedzone is an elite player that offers high-performance and a better aesthetic. Speedzone Xtreme, on the other hand, provides a better driver who can be more patient, stable and forgiving.

What are the differences between Speedzone Xtreme Driver And Speedzone Xtreme Driver

Speedzone Xtreme offers a 12° loft. Speedzone Xtreme offers a 12-degree loft. It has weight ports in both the back and front that can be adjusted to adjust launch. January 31, 2020

Are Cobra Speedzone Drivers Good?

Cobra appears to have achieved its goal of having a CNC-milled face. This gives the driver of the KING SPEEDSONE a remarkable balance between power and consistency. The driver’s attractive appearance and adaptability make it a great choice for me. March 18, 2020
