Ping Glide3.0 SS Wedges have deep, sharp grooves which provide better spin. The system is also lighter for improved control and feeling. The wedges have been proven to save shots across multiple lofts and sole grind options. Shots will have a greater MIO head for increased accuracy. Also, the wedges will include an elastomer insert to provide soft impact.
The details: Ping completely overhauled its previous wedges to craft the new Glide 3.0 versions, which are made to spin more, feel softer and forgive like never before. You will find a series of milled grooves and sharp edges. Larger CTP (Custom Tuning Port) inserts behind the head deliver the softness; credit the back cavities for the extra spin and Tour-like lower shot trajectory. The Glide 3.0 lineup has a number of head options for different players, but the return of Ping's classic Eye2 shape is certainly the most nostalgic.
