The focus on fine tuning is what was lacking in many PXG drivers. There are two different models of the Proto driver – one each for downward and upward angles of attack. It is important to remember that ball speed is the key. High MOI and a titanium face make the 0211 driver incredibly fast. The driver is very stable and the ball speed was consistent high when the ball was kept close to the middle of the face.

I know that I absolutely need the PXG0211 Driver. It’s a great deal at $249 plus shipping. This is for a driver, shaft, and mid-size grip. Currenty, I am using a TaylorMade M1 driverhead (that my grandfather gave me), on a regular shaft. One concern for me is that I really have no way to test hit the PXG before purchasing. From my knowledge, the nearest PXG station is 6 hours away by car through heavy traffic. The best thing about Seattle, according to them, is being able to see it from my rearview mirror. PXG has an exchange policy. You will have to pay shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
Although there are not many reviews, the ones I have found seem to be positive. One reviewer compared it to the Ping G425 (but much less expensive). The price is also amazing. Sheesh. PXG will probably call me tomorrow. However, I still have some time for you to get my mind off of this.
What is the Best Pxg0211 Driver?

Which Pxg Driver is Most Patient?
PXG’s 0811XF driver, is the most forgiving of all heads. It must sail close to the wind according to R&A and USGA’s MOI limits.
Can the Pxg0211 driver be adjusted?
Yes, the PXG driver is adjustable. This driver features the same hosel adjustment as that of the other PXG metal woods. You can also change the PXG 0211’s 10g backweight. This weight can be adjusted from 2.5g to as much as 20g.
