The Taylormade M4 was my first new club, and I’ve been excited about it for a long time. Although I have never been a fan of Taylormade driver, the Twist Face technology made me want to give it a try. This post will review the M4 and share my opinions after having tested it.
I liked the M4’s overall look more than the M1/M2 and found the M4 to have a better feel and sound. It also sounds more solid and consistent at impact. However, the Twist Face has reduced sidespin slightly, which is good for slices/hooks. It won’t fix everything. Additionally, the sweet spot is larger than ever before. This would be beneficial for many mid- to high handicappers and those with off center hits. Overall I rate the M4 highly and would consider purchasing a Taylormade driver.
