Taylormade Sim 2 Driver Review

Is it possible to drive straighter and longer in 2021 than you did in 2021? TaylorMade SIM2 may be the right driver for you.

These drivers are making a big splash this year. It’s trusted by some top names in the game including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, John Rahm, and more.

While the SIM 2 proved to be a hit, it was not yet available for everyday players. Now, it’s ready for the golfing public and has already become a mega hit. We’ll be reviewing the tech and specifications of each driver to help you find the perfect one for you.

Why is TaylorMade’s latest driver special?

You’re right… it will replace the SIM-driver from 2020, which was extremely popular. TaylorMade stated, “First, we modified the driver and then we rebuilt it.” The driver was completely rebuilt from the ground up in order to offer forgiveness as well as distance. The SIM2 Max Driver features include:

Speed Injected Twist Technology: The speed of your toe shots and heels will increase. With the twist technology you can have straighter hits on any off-center hit and speedier shots.

Forged Ring Construction. This is what makes the driver special. The aluminum they use is precision milled and designed to help increase both power and forgiveness.

OUR TAKE: Asked to describe the look of the new SIM2 drivers, our testers labeled them as “futuristic,” “modern” and “fast.” And who can argue when there’s all of that new-age carbon on the sole? TaylorMade SIM2 Drivers still have the same name as the SIM Shape in Motion drivers who excelled in 2020. However, TaylorMade made some big changes. The improvements were noticed by a skeptical GOLF tester: “I tried hitting the original SIM last season, but this one feels a millionx more solid. It’s going to be hard to beat this.” THE DETAILS. TaylorMade combined proven technology (TwistFace and Inertia Generator), Speed-Injected face, thru-slots and carbon crowns) to create its SIM2 heads. For weight savings, TaylorMade has created a carbon composite soleplate. A blue aluminum back rings connects the rearsole to the crown. This new combination helps to decrease weight, which will improve mishit performance. Not a fan of the blue colorway? TaylorMade is now allowing for personalized color changes on five different areas in the heads through its MySIM2 custom platform. Forgiveness

This is a clear indication that SIM2 Max offers more flexibility than SIM2. And this was definitely borne out in my testing.

I find that my mis-hits perform better when using the SIM2 Max. The distance results are comparable to solid hits, and most mis-hits stay in the fairway.

How is it different to SIM Max’s forgiveness? Some people say there is no improvement, but I strongly disagree.

As I reviewed the SIM Max, the driver was not as forgiving as the. TaylorMade has definitely closed this gap with its SIM2 Max. It is my opinion that the SIM2 Max driver is among the most accommodating drivers currently available.

Taylormade Sim2 Vs Titleist Tsi3 Driver Review Vs Alternatives

Taylormade Sim2 Vs Titleist Tsi3 driver review and alternatives Many tour drivers of this level share many of the same features. However, they have different names.

Plus, you may not be sure which features you will really want to spend your money on. This review will provide a comparison for those who are looking to buy a touring-grade driver.

An Intro To The Drivers You can really feel the aerospace-grade titanium at work with the TSi3. The lightweight of the TSi allows for great ball speeds when you are at your sweet spot.

It’s hard to ignore what makes the SIM2 driver unique. Taylormade called the “inertia generation” a lower panel that extends above the head. The result is a super-low center of gravity (CG) and plenty of torque.
