Performance

There are two reasons why the new TS drivers are drawing rave reviews from golfers at all levels: ball speed and lower spin.

Ball speed on from the TS3 is very strong, and, more importantly, it’s robust. The TS3 driver is less accepting than the other drivers. However, the TS3’s MOI is higher and the face is thinner which helps to maintain a high ball speed even when the player moves off center. Titleist drivers being feared as “for only better players” is a myth.

Titleist Ts3 Driver Titleist

TS3 Drivers offer an adjustable sweet spot for speed-tuned performance. For the player who wants tuned distance, adjustable CG and dynamic forgiveness.

More importantly, Titleist has brought the spin down on this new generation of drivers. The keys to longer drives are high launch and low spinning, which is something that most golfers understand. Although the TS3 may not be the best spin killer driver available, it is capable of playing with and sometimes beating any other driver in the market.

Titleist offers two options for the TS3’s driver adjustment. First is the SureFit hosel, which they’ve been using for many generations. Second is SureFit’s CG weight. Titleist originally introduced this with their 818 hybrids. They’ve since improved it by introducing the TSwoods. They have created one weight, which is neutral or bias. This weight can be slipped into the port on the head, which conceals the adjustment.

Titleist also continues to provide a broad range of stock shafts. Two new Project X offerings are the HZRDUS Smoke, and EvenFlow T1100. Two MCA shafts are available – Kuro Kaage and Tensei AV Blue. An EvenFlow T1100 shaft was recommended by Titleist as it is a comfortable, smooth feeling shaft with a solid tip.

      Titleist Ts3 Driver Review

Titleist Updates Their Drivers To Give You More Speed. For many rounds of golf, and range training sessions I was able to use the TitleistTM TS3 Driver.

This is my overall opinion and review of the club and how it performed for me!

Titleist was fortunate to always have loyal drivers. The sound and feel were all important to them. It didn’t really matter how much time it took. The Titleist driver was a joy for these golfers. Titleist wasn’t happy that so many people who tried other company drivers would get yardage. A key reason was always spin. Titleist drivers spun too much, which often led to a loss of distance. Titleist was well aware of their slight fall in speed and launched the TS initiative 2 years earlier. They set out to beat their rivals in the driver market. Titleist drivers are now something that every driver should see.

Titleist recommends that all golfers get a new driver. Actually they’ve encouraged that with their previous clubs too, but if you really want to get the most out of your driver; get fit. There is a Thursday fitting for no charge in all areas of the country. It is an excellent introduction to Titleist, and you may leave with new clubs. This way you can be assured you are getting the proper model, loft, shaft and flex for your swing. Talking Stick Scottsdale, AZ. He had the proper heads, as well the right shafts for me to swing off and challenge my gamer. Trackman Launch Monitor was available to assist us with dividing shots and data in order to make me the best Titleist driver. At 45′, the numbers began to turn out in favor of a Trackman Launch Monitor TS3 8.5* Head with HAZRDUS Smoke 60g/6.0 shaft. I had the most spin and launch numbers with this combo.

Titleist’s TS3 driver, which is made of a pear shape and mostly in black, will appeal to loyalists. The SureFit hosel still has the 2 cog settings for just the right fit. The TS3 model comes with an adjustable weight to allow for adjusting the CG as well as changing certain flight characteristics. The biggest changes are “under the hood” with a lighter titanium crown, a speed chassis, a new aerodynamic shape and a hotter face. All things considered, the T3 was intended to be more powerful than Titleist’s drivers.

I’ve reviewed Titleist drivers in the past and was even fit for them, but it seemed no matter how hard we tried, we could never really “best” my other drivers. I am impressed with what I get out of Titleist this year, and I fit for it. The TS3 was actually better than what I was currently playing. The numbers don’t lie. It was a great pleasure to have this driver join me on the course. For me, this is the most important element of testing. While nets and numbers can be great, they don’t mean much if it’s not played on the course where there is water to the right, and OB to the left. My on course testing was most interesting with this club.

My first round, I found this amazing club! I was constantly dropping bombs in the middle. It was able to hit mid-high drives and it rolled well. It was phenomenal, easily the best Titleist driver that I have ever encountered. After that, it was dominated by driver swing yips. After three rounds, my mental state was terrible. The driver was useless and I struggled to get the car on the road. He kept pace with me when I took it over to a friend I often out-drive. This is when I knew that Titleist had a real winner. His driver is so precise, and he hits the ball well that it blows us all away. It was quickly returned to my bag, and I had my swing back on track. And then it was back for me to continue bombing it.

Prices: 499 / BUY NOW Lofts : 8.5@, 9.5@, and 10.5@. Our Take: Titleist’s SureFit CG cartridge is housed in the TS3, which allows you to adjust the center of gravity for a draw or fade. It is easy to understand why Tour players like Justin Thomas rely so heavily on the TS3.

Are The Titleist Ts3 Good Driving?

Ball speed on from the TS3 is very strong, and, more importantly, it’s robust. … While it might not be considered the top spin-killer driver, the TS3 driver is more than capable to compete with – or even beat – all other drivers on the market. Titleist made it possible to adjust the TS3’s driver in two ways.

      Is Titleist Ts3 Forgiving?

The TS3 doesn’t have as much forgiveness, but the forward weight will mean that it spins a lot less.

Which Is More Important Ts2 Or 3?

Like with the drivers, the TS2 is the more forgiving of the two models, while the TS3 offers a weight cylinder that moves the center of gravity between draw and fade bias. … With the shaft weight savings, the TS2 and TS3 drivers feature a 45.5-inch shaft, a half-inch longer than Titleist’s past drivers.
