Titleist Tsi2 Driver Review

Looks

The TSi2 driver retains the elongated round shape of its predecessor, the TS2 [review HERE ]. As an alignment tool, the only accent on the gloss black crown is a “TSi”. The club looks great at the address. To my eye, the matte finish Mitsubishi Kura Kage shaft adds to the really sharp looking club.

TSi2 Driver TSi2

For players seeking incredible speed and accuracy across the entire surface of the face. Features a deeper, lower CG to maximize distance through Speed Optimized MOI design.

The face of the TSi2 driver is unique and intriguing. While the toe and heel sections are reminiscent of the last generation’s, the pointed diamonds at the heels and feet provide continuity. But that is where similarities stop. The fascinating aspect of the face is the texture of the center section. The texture of the center section was revealed by me scratching my fingers across it. However, it was easily wiped off my thumb. Although I expected to be seeing an imprint from each ball strike, that was not the case.

The sole of TSi2 features a sleek, modern look. Easy launch is assured by the simple weight port at the rear. The classic Titleist script toe on my feet is something I love, as usual.

      Titleist Tsi2 Driver Review

For the last five years, Titleist’s drivers have been in some trouble. Titleist sets high standards so that drivers are not a problem.

Truthfully, I think Titleist has lost some of their fan-base specifically because they DON’T market themselves like TaylorMade and Callaway do. Callaway and TaylorMade both release new drivers every two years and attempt to sell golfers on how their driver is the best thing since sliced bread. It is completely absurd and works. When people think of great drivers, they don’t think of Titleist. Callaway and TaylorMade often come up. It’s a shame, really.

Titleist drivers are of the highest quality, with no exception to the Titleist TSi series. You can support a high-quality company without over-saturating the market by supporting a Titleist TSi driver.

In this review, we’ll be going over the Titleist TSi2 driver , which is marketed as the longer, high launching, more forgiving driver of the series.

It is easy to see that the Performance & Appearance titleist TSi2 driver’s clubhead has a higher profile and wider head. The club head screams “super-forgiving”, which can be great for many golfers who want more fairways. Although both the TSi2 and TSi3 are both 460cc size club heads, the TSi2 driver appears much larger at address due to the longer, lower club head. I really like the all-black crown and the white/black contrast club head cover.

Performance is more complicated than appearance. While we cannot tell you exactly how your swing is going with the Titleist Tsi2 driver, we can give you some guidelines.

For golfers who wish to hit the ball far and high, with extra forgiveness, this driver is a good choice. In truth, almost everyone should have this model (compared to that of the TSi3). Many golfers don’t require adjustability or sliding weights. For average golfers, a ball that launches high requires a low centre of gravity. For average golfers, a big-profile club head is necessary that even off-center strokes can fly long and straight. That’s it.

TSi2 is [email protected]@[email protected]@. TSi3 is [email protected]@[email protected]@. Our conclusion: We’re amazed by how great the face of the TSi driver looks, feels and works. A test rider said: “It’s quite bubbly but it’s very fast.” Titleist also received praises from another tester for creating the driver’s clubface out of titanium, which is an extremely rare material.

OUR TAKE – We simply can’t believe the way the TSi drivers look and feel. Said an excited club tester, “It’s a bit bubbly looking, but the ball flies hot off the clubface.” Said another, “It’s the number one driver that I’ve tried.” Those are high praises for Titleist, considering the challenge it was to build a driver with a clubface made from an incredibly unique, aerospace-grade titanium. Titleist Tsi2 Vs Tsi3 Driver Review Vs Alternatives

Titleist Driver Review: TSi3 vs Titleist Ti2 I love Titleist vehicles, have owned several and hope to purchase many more.

There is something about the soft feel you get at impact and the subtle looks of their design that I have just always loved (907 D1 as the only huge exception to that statement).

We will help you decide what clubs you should be thinking about and trying if you’re in the market for a new driver.
