Titleist has answered the big question that I have for their TSi3-driver: Can a low or mid handicap player use it? As I worked into my testing sessions, I was pleasantly surprised at how much distance I was getting from mishits. Although it won’t forgive bad swings like the most patient drivers, the TSi3 can still be a very strong player driver.
Titleist remains committed to the SureFit hosel since its inception, but they don’t mind changing their weight systems. The TSi3 gives them yet another option for adjustability. The SureFit CG track at the back of the head has five positions: neutral and two each toward the toe and heel. It’s a very slick, stealthy system, but the downside is that the weight doesn’t move very far. If you aren’t a consistent ball striker you won’t notice a significant change in your ball flight. Adjustable weighting is not for you. It’s possible to make a baby fade seem like an easy task.

The TSi3 models are the “players precise” model of the TSi series. The TSi3 shares speed-boosting technologies with other TSi drivers. However, it features a Tour-inspired profile as well as a special track on its sole for ball flight and CG dialing.
The TSi3 features new advances in face technology, an enhanced MOI, and improved aerodynamics that are characteristic of the entire TSi line.
What is the CG track good for? The driver can be as active or passive on the course. Who should put it in the bag?
